Week 5--Letter D

A little insight into our week here at school...

I LOVED watching these boys "create".  They built this "race track"  and then made their "car" (the gray stick with 2 blue wheels) and would race it back and forth to each other on the "race track"

Tinkertoys are becoming a new favorite for my morning friends...
Some of the patterns we were working on this week...started with a simple ABABAB pattern (We also did one on our calendar...boy girl boy girl...and a color one blue green blue green)...

The kids took turns picking a "clue" and after each clue they had to guess what my picture was...it was the apple :)

And sequencing...funny how something that seems so simple to us...really made them think...what comes first...a bare foot...a sock or a shoe :)

Our hats and cutting practice...once again check out the different levels....one child just "colored" the hats the best he/she could with whatever color they wanted too...the other child colored his/her hats the exact way as the picture...again not necessarily "right or wrong"...just levels of progression.

This shirt on the top left is Nate's...the one of two boys who was able to do the laces 100 % by himself...the others I helped get the button started and they finished....still doing a fantastic job!

Colton was able to do his all by himself too!! I was laughing because his shirt looked very similar to the one he was wearing...absolutely perfect!! :)

and there you have it...another week of organized chaos!! :)
